About the Project

Water Bodies & Ecology 2026 is a multidisciplinary initiative conceived by Dot Line Space Art Foundation that seeks to foster artistic engagement with issues surrounding water, ecology, climate, memory, and environmental consciousness. The project aims to create meaningful dialogue between contemporary artistic practices and ecological concerns through research-based and site-responsive approaches.

The programme will be presented across two venues in 2026 and will bring together artists, researchers, collectives, and communities through a series of research activities, installations, and exhibitions.

Objectives

  • To encourage critical and creative engagement with ecological and environmental concerns.
  • To support interdisciplinary and research-driven artistic practices.
  • To promote dialogue between artists, communities, and natural ecosystems.
  • To develop site-specific and experimental projects addressing water and environmental sustainability.
