Artists

My artworks revolve depict my first-hand observations of the social mis-happenings. Although I live in the outskirts of the city, my region is not untouched with the impending devastation caused by capitalist intentions. I have completed my Masters in Printmaking from Sir JJ School of Art. Having worked with natural forms, I have always been perturbed with the sadistic events happening in my residential zone.

In a few of my works, I represent the rabbit as a meaningful token of a victimized environs. In the process of hunting a few rabbits, the poachers tend to burn the entire natural terrain of the forest thereby destroying the exotic biodiversity of the locale. This disturbs the ecological balance for a petty and selfish cause. According to my research and conviction, I believe that the cyclic balance via Human- Source-Nature is irrevocably imbalanced. The same concept I attempt to aesthetically project utilizing dull tones, triangular and organic forms in many expressions. The triangular form represents multiple meanings, exploring minimal approach. From being a symbolic reference to hills and mountains to the trap formed by the misinformed psyches and to the raw cycle of nature, it nevertheless holds the rein of innocent life and living.

The scenario is empathetic. My empathy is mixed with multi-emotions, the will to live while being disappointed by the same locale.  I work with the mediums of plywood, canvas, mixed media, printmaking and experimental resources.
