My work are based on a 64 number of Hindu deities whose incarnation was to save the world from the war. These deities called yoginis who are worshiped from Buddhist time to till date which inspired me very much. This is located at Hirapur nearby my locality. In my first series of ‘ 64 yoginis ‘ are painted on many different type of textile and design clothesÂ
These deities are made in granite stones which are integrative linear carving. In these sculptures all deities are equally Hindu God and Goddess having animals that symbolizes with them as their vehicle for movement. This kind of conceptual ideas are there because people give equal value to God and the animals known as their VAHANAS and worship bothÂ
In my work style used textile of different types of clothes and also painted a unique weaving design SAMBALPURI(which is popular in 0disha where l belong to) .This is a very unique textile design which l used as a pattern in my paintings and it is a self identity for me. Mostly my works are in acrylic on canvas/paper.Â
